You Are That Tree | God’s Entrepreneur|ANSWERS

For Entrepreneur’s who put God First

The tree you saw was growing very tall and strong, reaching high into the heavens for all the world to see.  It had fresh green leaves and was loaded with fruit for all to eat. Wild animals lived in its shade, and birds nested in its branches. That tree, Your Majesty, is you. Daniel 4:20-22, NLT

Daniel the Beloved, in unraveling the king’s dream about a tree, reveals that “the king is the tree.” And that is God’s Word to you too: “You are the Tree.”

I tried to find an example to help each person understand the use of the term “majesty” in our anchor Scripture above, because often times, in the Body of Faith the idea of the ‘king’ and the ‘kingdom’ have a different meaning than it does from the usage in this text.

Now, if you think about it, the position of the President of the United States is also a military position because it has similar functions to that of a military position. The similarity lies in the fact that in both instances, when you retire from the position, you maintain whatever your highest rank is. In the case of the President, his highest rank would be ‘The President.’

Also, in the military, if you retire with ‘captain’ as your highest rank, that is the position with which you will be addressed. In other words, my husband who retired as a captain, is still addressed as ‘Captain Cherry,’ even though he no longer holds the position and no longer has the power and authority of a serving captain.

Now, the Bible addresses us as ‘Kings and Priests.’ So, many believers still retain their title as ‘Majesty’ even when they have kind of moved out of the position of power and authority. In other words, they have a job, but they haven’t assumed the position of authority as yet. They have business to do, but they don’t know how to take it to the next level. Yes, they aren’t slaves, but they aren’t in a position of power either. It is clear they have made some progress, but they are clearly digressing too. So, it’s more like, “I look better on the outside, but Satan is attacking my emotions and is basically running my life.” Or, “I have declared the kingship and blessings, but it hasn’t manifested in my life.”

If that describes you, the message of this book is for you. I want you to know that you
